The Fake Cowboy

Often the fake cowboy will strut and talk tough, sometimes walking as if he was gripping his holster. Here we see the fake cowboy in an 'off' moment.... Note that the fake cowboy can often be spotted enunciated his T's, and omitting his G's and D,s, like, "I'm Talkin' Tough, like a Texas kin' of guy... "The problem with fake cowboys is that they are often illiterate, and tend not to read their Presidential Daily Briefs fully, which is not a problem except for those 911 souls who on one particular day, needed someone to be a bit more on the ball...."

You're the president. But you don't read your briefs fully, then go fishing.....

NEW YORK — Up to 52 detailed warnings of attacks from the terrorist Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda — including plans on airline hijackings and suicide attacks — were given to the United State's Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) but its officials did not react.
.
The officials were "lulled into a false sense of security", and "intelligence that indicated a real and growing threat leading up to 911 did not stimulate significant increases in security procedures", the FAA's commissioned report revealed.
.
The New York Times, which published the findings of the undisclosed report, said the warnings came from the FAA's security branch.

As usual bush was OUT OF THE LOOP on these warnings
.
The report disclosed that the FAA warned airports in the spring of 2001 that if "the intent of the hijacker is not to exchange hostages for prisoners, but to commit suicide in a spectacular explosion, a domestic hijacking would probably be preferable".

Above we see how bush was warned of the possibility of "suicide in a spectacular explosion". However since we know he doesn't read the paper in the morning we can assume he was OUT OF THE LOOP in this instance too.

The report took the FAA to task for failing to pursue domestic security measures that could conceivably have altered the events of Sept 11, 2001, such as tightening airport screening procedures for weapons or expanding the use of on-flight air marshals.

The FAA _would have tightened security procedures protecting passengers had they received a direct order from the president which they did not
.
It added that officials appeared more concerned with reducing airline congestion, lessening delays and easing airlines' financial woes than deterring a terrorist attack.
.
A spokeswoman for the FAA said that, since 911, "bold steps" have been taken to improve security.
.
"We had a lot of information about threats. But we didn't have specific information about means or methods that would have enabled us to tailor any counter-measures," she said. — Agencies
... but no one reacted accordingly: Report
